The Bangladesh Journal of MIS (BJMIS) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published twice a year, in June and December, by the Department of Management Information Systems, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The journal publishes original research and review articles on management information systems, information systems, information technology, supply chain management, and related aspects of business, industry, trade, and development. Its scope includes the organizational, managerial, economic, and social implications of technology adoption and use.

BJMIS serves researchers, academics, and practitioners by providing a forum for the dissemination of research, theoretical developments, and evidence relevant to policy and practice. Submissions are assessed for their relevance to the journal’s scope, originality, methodological rigor, and contribution to knowledge. Research articles considered for publication undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent external reviewers.

The journal transitioned to fully open-access publishing from Volume 10, Issue 1 (June 2024). Articles published from that issue onward are available immediately, without registration, subscription, or an embargo, under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0), except for material identified as subject to different terms. Authors retain copyright in their work. Earlier articles remain subject to their original copyright notices and applicable reuse terms.
